Drawing in progress. Hope to finish it this weekend.
Aubrey: Well, you know, it’s the old “if you love something you should let it go” sentiment.
Arienette: Right… but like… if the thing that loves you lets you go, what are you supposed to do? Walk away? Go have a smoke? Watch the ducks in the park and hope when you get back they’ll have snapped out of their stupidity? Or just stand there looking at them like their daft until they get that you’ve got no where else to be?
Aubrey: I don’t know, but I’m all out of bread crumbs and that duck looks angry.
i’ve been working on Aubrey and Arienette more lately. By the time I actually get this project to a finished place I’ll have a story that I have literally spent over a decade thinking and dreaming about. So many little snippets are finally coming together in my head as a sequence of events and a story rather than snapshots. It’s exciting.
So this happened this morning (!!!)
I would like to note the time stamp on this screenshot and say that while the threat of potentially not having a job if I don’t stop rolling out of bed 15 minutes before I’m due to work is not enough to get me out of bed before 9, my phone blowing up with tumblr notifications completely did the trick.
To the new followers, welcome!
We are moving in just over a month and these recent gifts are going to make my new kitchen the best kitchen EVER.
Spent some time tonight reformatting my spirit animal series for the some of the newer items society 6 is offering like tote bags, pillows and iphone cases/skins. If you’re interested in owning any of these items, society 6 is running a free shipping promo this week on most items. Just use this link: http://society6.com/ursulaviglietta?promo=dbfc5e
This is the first drawing i’ve completed in less than 24 hours in a good long time. Working on her brother next.
Please share if you like this! It will help me stay motivated and away from the tv.
